Description:
As a Product Manager in the IBM XIV Product Management &Marketing team you will take part in defining and managing the XIV product offering.
You will work closely with the product development team, marketing, sales, customers and partners to define product messaging, product specifications, gather future requirements, prioritize features and drive the product releases and its future roadmap.
You will also take part in product marketing, assist sales, discuss current and future product offering with customers, and conduct market research and competitive analysis.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years experience in Product Management
- Strong R&D technical background
- Must be familiar with enterprise IT systems
- Knowledge in storage systems is an advantage
Proven record of successful product definition and business achievements:
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in Marketing and Marcom is an advantage
- Excellent teamwork skills
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams
- Fluent in English
Required
- Technical Bachelor's Degree
- MBA – advantage
