Junior Test Integration Engineer - XIV

Description:
The XIV development integration team is growing and seeking for a junior test integration engineer. The JTI engineer will work with development teams on a number of challenging development projects, focusing on integrating the latest new features into the product, before delivering it to the test teams.
The perfect candidate is a very motivated, responsible, hard worker, able to take charge and lead, and self quick learner with the relevant academic background.
The junior test integration engineer will be involved in:
- Manual Testing and Integrating the latest software functions and features across several development teams
- Coordinating between development and QA.
- Working with the Architecture team, characterizing new features.
Requirements:
- Experience in integration testing or QA testing of complex software projects (1-3 years)
- Understanding of operating systems
- Understanding of communication protocols (TCP/IP)
- Understanding of storage communication protocols – a huge advantage (SCSI, iSCSI, FibreChannel, SAS, etc.)
- Understanding of computers hardware
- Experience with Linux – advantage
- Programming experience – an advantage
- Motivated, responsible, hard worker, able to take charge and lead
- B.A. or B.Sc in computer science, computer/electrical engineering, or equivalent.
