Description:
This position requires understanding & supporting Laptop/PC/Servers Software/Hardware issues, networks, various operating systems and the ability to learn new concepts quickly. Documentation & human interaction skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Join the Help Desk Team - supporting XIV's employees user environment
- Understand, Investigate, diagnose & solve various SW/HW issues
Required Experience:
- 2+ years experience in Linux & Windows user
- Valid student card for 18 months in advance.
- Deep knowledge in Microsoft OS especially Windows XP/7 & server environment.
- Knowledge in Laptop/PC environment , MAC advantage
- Experience in Microsoft Office
- Experience in Lotus Notes
- Basic networking understanding
- Virtual environment solutions, VMware - advantage
Preferred personal skills:
- Team player
- High expression abilities in English. English speaker - advantage.
- Service orientation - supporting R&D teams
Advantages:
- Good knowledge in Windows Server administration
- Experience with support tools such as images, partition tools, remote control, etc.
