QA Team Leader - XIV

Location: Tel Aviv, Azrieli Center
Description:
- Leading and managing a test team (~4 -5 test engineers in Tel-Aviv and collaborating with a similar-sized team in China)
- Responsible for planning and executing test coverage for an enterprise level storage product
- Define test resources and requirements (e.g. test tools, coverage analyzers, test tracking and work plans)
- Act as the team's authority in the domains of test design and technical aspects of the product
- Hands on work ~ 50% of the time which includes design and execution of tests scenarios
- Working closely with several organizational units inside the company (development, HW, release management, other QA groups in and outside Israel)
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 years experience leading a test team
- Strong technical orientation and knowledge of some networking protocols / equipment
- In-depth understanding of QA methodologies and software development lifecycle
- Good knowledge in Unix/Linux
- Candidate must posses excellent inter-personal skills, strong understanding of complex system architecture, people management skills and fast ramp up skills
Advantages:
- Knowledge and experience with scripting languages (e.g. Shell or Python) is highly preferred
- Experience with storage protocols: Fibre Channel, iSCSI, FCoE
- Experienced with testing enterprise level combined hardware/software product
- Experience of leading a team in a distributed environment
- Previous working experience with high end storage products (SAN, NAS)
- ISTQB certification
Education:
B.A. / B.S.c. degree in Computer Sciences or SW / HW Engineering compute from a well known academic institute or equivalent.
