Description:
IBM is growing and seeking for Software Testing Engineers for challenging testing position for ProtecTier,an IBM's innovative data de-duplication product line solutions.
The selected candidate will:
- Participate in requirement analysis and design meetings
- Develop and execute test plans based on product requirements and functional specifications
- Conduct problem determination analysis for problems detected during testing
- Log defects and work with development teams to ensure the defect is being resolved
- Work according to aggressive work plans in collaboration with other worldwide testing teams
Requirements:
- Fluent English skills (writing and speaking)
- Team player
- Strong problem-solving skills
- B.Sc. in computer science or an exact science from a recognized university or college graduation with an 80+ average
- 1-4 years of experience in software testing
- Experience in Unix/Linux environments
Advantages:
- basic knowledge in NAS (CIFS/NFS) protocols and SAN
- Knowledge of Shell scripting, Perl/Python,
- Configuration and troubleshooting NAS storage, protocol analyzers, and/or networking testing equipment (WAN simulators, network analyzers, load and stress test tools)
