Description:
The rising complexity of computer systems in recent years increase the need for better automation tools for hardware design. The challenge in building such tools is exacerbated in companies such as IBM that build high-end processors, containing leading edge innovation in design, while conforming to the strictest requirements for power, size and timing.
Our task, as part of IBM Research, is to research and develop state of the art methodologies, technologies and software tools to aid the design teams in coping with these challenges.
We are looking for outstanding individuals to join our team as we take on this task. This is an entry-level research and development position.
Requirements:
Candidates must have strong problem analysis and solving capabilities and sound algorithmic / theoretical background.
Good understanding of the hardware synthesis flow is an advantage.
Prior experience is not required.
Education:
M.A. / M.Sc. in computer science or electrical engineering.
Outstanding B.A. / B.Sc. candidates can also apply.
