Description:
This position involves working as a computer vision researcher and scientist in the Image and Document Analytics group at IBM Research - Haifa. The selected researcher will be responsible for generating novel ideas in the field and inventing and designing new computer vision methods to advance the state-of-the-art in the fields of computer vision and medical imaging. This role also includes documenting research results through external publications, patent disclosures, seminar participation, and more. The selected candidate will also support business development efforts by writing reports and papers, contributing to proposals, presenting to customers, etc.
Requirements:
- MSc/PhD in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field, with a background in computer vision or machine learning, and preferably, medical imaging
- Solid understanding and proven record of successful research in computer vision and image processing
- Strong programming background with skills in Matlab and C
- Ability to design, implement, and integrate computer vision algorithms and prototypes and interact with other team members and other research teams
- Strong communication, presentation, and writing skills
