Overview
Microprocessor cores integrated with components like memory and peripheral drivers constitute an inexpensive system on a chip or application-specific integrated circuit (ASIC). The growing pervasiveness of common products with embedded computing fuels the need for increasingly higher performance processor cores that are compact, low cost, and low in power. To meet this demand, we are developing advanced microprocessor cores by leveraging proven design techniques developed for implementing server microprocessors and exploring innovative design solutions.
