Global volumetric temperature are warped into a set of concentric spherical shells and registered with a topographic globe in an earth-centered, 3d coordinate system. An isosurface of temperature at 194K, pseudo-colored by pressure height is shown. Most of this surface, which is a signature of the polar vortex is between 100mb and 200mb.
