Yearly average precipitation and temperature data from global meteorological stations are gridded to an irregular mesh corresponding to the continental land masses at one-degree resolution, and warped to a Mollweide projection. The precipitation data are shown as a pseudo-color field and the temperature data are shown as pseudo-color contours.
