Game 3, white 33.Bb5
Commentary for white move 33:
By the way, upstairs in the press center there was a lot of
analysis regarding the move g7-g6 trying to break out of the
prison on the king-side. 33 Bb5
MAURICE ASHLEY: Kasparov has in fact played Bb5. It's now
found
an excellent post on the b5 square. Kasparov ought to feel
comfortable that he ought not lose this position because his
pieces just look very good. Looks like very dominating posts.
YASSER SEIRAWAN: I would have been very reluctant to play the
move Bb5. I think Garry could have forced it. Garry could
have brought his rook over here to the a1 square and eventually
played Bb5 because of the pin on the a-line and forced that,
but then Deep Blue would at least force the concession of
Rf1-a1, a tell me positive. So at the moment the position is
quite blocked so that extra pawn isn't so meaningful at the
moment, and I'm expecting a move like that f7-f6.
