Game 2, white
15.b3
Commentary for white move 15:
MAURICE ASHLEY: Now, it's interesting, because it seems like the
same thing has occurred that happened yesterday. The position
was blocked, closed down, we were wondering what's going to
happen, neither side was aggressive, and then suddenly the
computer figured out a way to be aggressive, to open up the
game, to initiate pawn contact. And Kasparov has found himself
again wondering about how to control this initiative, how to
make sure that a computer doesn't get the kind of position it
really loves and plays extraordinarily well. Is this something
that always happens? Is it impossible to keep a position
locked? Is Kasparov having a strategy in trying to keep it
closed? It seems the computer has managed to open it up yet
again.
