Commentary for white move 10:

Mr. SEIRAWAN: Again, this is one of those moves that I would have second-guessed. The move does loosen up white's king-side a bit, but at the same time it attacks the g4 bishop. Deep Blue happily retreated. Then came the move e2-e3. This was again a paratory move. Garry is looking to bring his queen from d1 to e2, a comfortable square. And then came the move h7-h6. This is also a slight surprise, the opportunity for Deep Blue to play e6-e5, grabbing more of the center territory.
