Game 1, black
15...Rfe8
Commentary for black move 15:
Mr. SEIRAWAN: That's a difficult question, because obviously
it's very annoying for the human player to have what the human
player perceives as "all of these mistakes" being made, and
then you don't win, and then that happens. "Whoa, wait a
minute, what's going on here?" And of course we don't know the
final outcome of the game, but, yeah, that could, you know, be
very disheartening.
Mr. ASHLEY: Particularly a guy like Garry Kasparov who is such
a
perfectionist.
Mr. SEIRAWAN: Absolutely.
Mr. ASHLEY: It's like he wants to spank you when you make a
bad
move, like "No, no, no. The history of chess says you don't do
this, and I'm the guy who upholds the history of chess." So he
has to be somewhat deterred if that happens. The king from h1
to g1 in response to this move h6-h5, the other concern is
we're now in an endgame. Going back to history, historically
computers haven't been very good at playing endgames?
