		Lava Project Overview Recognizing that leakage/stand-by power are becoming a key design imperative, the Lava project aims to create a comprehensive leakage analysis and reduction methodology. Lava is a user-friendly AIX/Linux/Windows tool that replaces the spread sheets commonly used to assess chip leakage. Lava goes further by integrating model to hardware comparison into the same tool. Subsequent work will include a macro-level static leakage analyzer and chip-level leakage analysis including variations in Vdd, temperature and ACLV.
