Project Overview

ACES is a fast circuit simulator used for timing, noise and power analysis in variety of IBM products and divisions. Over the last few months, various improvements have been made both in simulation accuracy, efficiency and usability and in the expansion of ACES use through out IBM. ACES is a critical part of the circuit level methodology both in IBM's EDA tool development efforts and use in IBM's design projects.

ACES has four primary applications: timing simulation, static timing analysis, noise analysis and power analysis.
