Nanda Kambhatla
Biography
Nanda Kambhatla was born in Hyderabad, India in 1969. He received
the B.Tech degree with first class honors in 1990 in Computer
Science and Engineering from the Institute of Technology, Benaras
Hindu University, India, and the Ph.D degree in Computer Science
and Engineering from the Oregon Graduate Institute of Science &
Technology, Oregon, USA, in 1996.
Since 1996, Dr. Kambhatla has worked as a postdoctoral fellow
under Prof. Simon Haykin at McMaster University, Canada and
as a senior research scientist at WiseWire Corporation,
Pittsburgh. He is currently employed as a research staff member
at IBM's T.J.Watson Research Center in New York and is
working on natural language dialog systems. His research interests
include all aspects of machine learning algorithms and their
application to textual, speech and image data processing.
