Join us on September 18-19, 2017, for the 6th IBM Research Cognitive Colloquium: "Strengthening the Cognitive Partnership" at the Thomas J. Watson Research Center in Yorktown Heights, New York.

In order to accelerate progress in the field of cognitive computing and to foster maximum benefits for industry and society, it is essential that we continue to develop a comprehensive and shared vision of the future. The IBM Research Cognitive Colloquium presents an excellent opportunity for attendees from the Cognitive Horizons Network and our guests to participate in shaping the research agenda through a series of lectures, posters, breakout sessions, and informal interactions. Our goal is to build stronger connections and ongoing collaborations between the CHN faculty, students, and researchers.

The colloquium this year will focus first on research results from the CHN graduate students, presented in a poster session on Monday, and then cross-department collaborations via breakout sessions on both days. We are lucky to have plenary presentations from Dr. Raj Reddy (Turing Award Winner from CMU), Dr. Jim Kurose (Assistant Director of the National Science Foundation for the Computer and Information Science and Engineering), and Dario Gil (Vice President of AI and IBM Q).
