IBM Austin Research Laboratory's Low Power Computing
Research Center announces the first annual Austin Conference on Energy-efficient
Design. This conference provides a forum to exchange ideas on low-power
techniques and methodologies and to promote research on critical areas
relating to future energy efficient computing.
The keynote speaker will be Dr. John Kelly III, IBM Sr. VP and Group
Executive, Technology Group. The conference will consist of a public
session on Monday, February 25th, in which university and government
researchers, as well as IBMers, will participate. Tuesday and Wednesday
will consist of closed sessions for IBM participants only.
