The IBM Austin Research Laboratory's Low Power Computing Research
Center is pleased to announce the first annual Austin Conference on
Energy-Efficient Design. This conference provides a forum to exchange
ideas on low-power techniques and methodologies and to promote research
on critical areas relating to future energy efficient computing.
The conference will consist of a public session on Monday, February
25th, in which university and government researchers, as well as IBMers,
will participate. Tuesday will consist of IBM internal sessions and
Wednesday will be devoted primarily to smaller breakout sessions.
The results of the conference will be reported back to the company
