| IBM Austin Research Laboratory's
Low-Power Computing Research Center hosted the third
annual Austin Conference on Energy-Efficient Design, ACEED 2004.
The conference provided a forum to exchange ideas on low-power
techniques and methodologies and promoted research on critical
areas relating to energy-efficient computing. The conference
consisted of a public session on Tuesday, March 1st, which included
university and government research participants. Wednesday and
Thursday consisted of IBM internal sessions and smaller breakout
sessions. Tuesday's events also included a poster session to
further the exchange the research ideas between the participants.
