Conversational Biometric Authentication in Real Time (C-BART)The C-BART system demonstrates how conversational biometrics may be used for voice based person authentication in over-the-phone credit card transactions. In addition, user authentication is not restricted to the telephony environment; it may be extended to Personal Digital Assistants (PDAs), mobile and landline phones, and the internet. Such technology enhances consumer choice and convenience by allowing customers to command how and when they pay for goods and services. This system significantly reduces the risk to both the merchant and bank for telephony and related transactions. The C-BART System provides efficiency and convenience for the customer, merchant and bank, anytime, anywhere and on demand! Voice Identification and Verification Agent (VIVA)The Voice Identification and Verification Agent (VIVA) is a core implementation of the conversational speech biometrics concept in the telephony environment which allows for user identification and verification using spoken natural language. This demo page contains recordings of real interactions with the VIVA system. Travel Demo System (HOPE)The HOPE travel system provides a telephony speech interface to web content, including travel information and other types of web content such as IBM blue pages. The hope system invokes a conversational biometrics session in order to verify the caller. Subsequently, upon verification of the user it accesses travel web content using the HOPE server, allowing the user to navigate through travel reservation data. The information includes flights, hotel, rental car information, and a live weather forecast for the trip destinations. |
